At The Prince of Wales Pre-School, we provide a warm and friendly atmosphere to welcome all our families into the start of school life.

We believe that given care and attention our children will flourish and grow. We, therefore, aim to provide a nurturing environment and a stimulating curriculum.

A well-planned curriculum stimulates a child’s development and makes learning and daily life more fun.

Our curriculum is adjusted to match a child’s abilities, which we believe encourages independence and inspires individuality and creativity. Children can join us from the age of 2 years and 9 months.

Children can attend the following sessions -

Option A - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Option B - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Option C - 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

In addition to the above, Pre-School children can also our access CAPOW (Children Active at The Prince of Wales School) Breakfast (08:00 am to 09:00 am) and After-School (03:00 pm to 6:00 pm) on-site childcare provision.

We have lots of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy physical games, socialising, crafts and quiet times. We have enabling environments for children to access roleplay, construct, create and challenge their learning. The children take part in individual activities and also have the opportunity to enjoy many experiences such as cooking, gardening, music, drama, sensory and soft play.

The Pre-School is part of the Prince of Wales school Foundation Stage and we enjoy many collaborative learning and experiences alongside the school.
